This is a piece we did for a client
in Lake Kiowa, TX. The client shared her interest in fishes and
that she wanted that theme in her kitchen which is in an area
open to the lake. This vividly colored pond fish work is 24"
by 36" (24 tiles, 6") and had to go through 3 firings
to complete it.
"I am so very pleased with my tile painting. It is
everything I hoped for and more and is a lovely focal point in
my kitchen...a real conversation piece with the beautiful blending
and shading of color to achieve the effect I wanted," says
owner Linda Hirneise. We are honored that she chose and trusted
us to create a mural that has become part of her life. |

Tile work.
1) Remember the best
effects are obtained from clear glaze color tiles such as white,
ivory, cream or bone. It is possible to paint over some texture
tiles ( Stone Look)
2) Make a list of the elements and colors you may like.
3) Set a budget. To suggest you a design, we need to know
how much you are willing to spend. |
